Depending on God?

Hey readers,

It sure has been months since I last updated my blog but who cares lol. Here goes...

Depending on God? There was a time which I did just depend on God. I guess I did that when I was having hard-times but only when I had hard-times like problems and so on. So which means most of the time I've been depending on my own strength and not God. Sometimes depending on one's self... Well, let's just say you can't expect great results honestly. But somehow I still stick to depending on myself and I just forget all about God. I myself don't understand why I'm like this.

Rebellion against God maybe? Why would I do that when He has always blessed me? I don't understand. I mean... I should be grateful right? So why am I neglecting Him? I think I should really depend on Him even more now. Through good times also and not only bad times. I don't understand what's wrong with me but I think I need prayer for this. I'm blogging this to remind myself. I'm sure a lot of you people out there experience this as well. So may we all be reminded.

Here are a few verses:

Jeremiah 17:7-8 "But Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

An Unexpected Day

Hello people! I think this one is going to be a long post ;D.

It was just yesterday... Again I'm late to post but I was waiting for the pictures anyways XP... it was just uploaded not long ago... Seriously, yesterday was very unexpected haha... It was sort of a reunion with two of my primary school friends and their Catholic friends haha... So yeah we met up at Mid Valley... The first plan of the day was to watch 'Green Hornet' and guess what time I slept the day before lol.... I slept veryyy early! At 5.30 a.m yesterday... awesome right? hahaha...

In the end, I was actually late for the movie... my friend miss called me a few times.. I dunno how many at 10.30a.m... I only heard a call from my phone at about 10.45a.m @.@... I'm so sorry Kristy for the trouble >.<. Crap man... when I saw the time... I seriously jumped out of my bed haha... Quickly I rushed to the toilet to wash up and changed etc... >.<.. I was supposed to take the LRT to Bangsar and then a bus to Mid Valley but I was late so I took a cab instead >.<.. I didn't even take a drink or anything for breakfast lolx =/.. was rushing >.<... and I really thank Kristy for coming out to pass me the ticket to enter the movie >.<... Friends.. they're great =P.

Before I sat down, I saw a familiar face in the group there but for that moment I ignored and watched the movie haha =P. Green Hornet was awesome la... hilarious =P.. should watch ;D. After the movie, we all loitered outside the cinema for awhile... chatting haha... obviously I was kinda like the odd one out as they were all Catholic High School people >.<. Then I looked at that girl again... and I told my friend, Jing Sheng, "She looks very familiar, like met somewhere many years ago." I was seriously trying to figure out who but I couldn't just yet =P. So we all walked out of the place as it was quite cold also >.<... went to the 'Noodle Station' to makan haha.

There, I met a new friend! Sukesh! He's a cool guy really haha ;D. Then some girls in the group went to get some A-cash leaving 1 more sitting there alone... total in the group had 4 girls haha... Kristy was sitting beside me and I was sitting beside Jing Sheng =P. So since that side was so quiet... She came and shared a seat with Sukesh... This is the time... where it was totally soooooo unexpected... I started with "You seriously look very familiar...uh your name?" Her: "Rachel.... Wong" Me: "Were you like in Sungai Way last time?" She replied, "I used to live in Sungai Way... Jason?" Then we both went like OMG... and started to become slightly hysterical... I wonder whether is that the right word to use... lol =P.

But it was like... seriously... Omg... 10 over years we have lost contact and suddenly we met in this Reunion... wasn't even expecting to see Rachel Wong, my old Sunday School friend there... that day... in Mid Valley @.@. I still remember the time we spent in Sunday School.. same class... it was fun haha... but then she had to move to Puchong around Standard 2 if I'm not wrong... Then... really walao... sooooooo unexpected I also cannot believe it's her hahaha >.<. Really la, God works in mysterious ways... we both believe it was God's plan for us to meet again after so many years haha =).

Then, we basically walked around la... the group... some went for pool first.. We were supposed to meet at Redbox but we changed our plans cause it was too expensive as it was a public holiday >.<. So in the end went to the pool place and so happen met Makesh there... He was called by his friend in the group... Seriously small world la hahaha... Then went to arcade... basically doing nothing much lol =P.

Later all decided to go to Baskin Robbins to eat and chill out haha... This other pics was taken there... but I didn't put all though =P. Lazy =D.

Teen's Club Opening 2011! =D

Wooo! Sunday morning and I'm so glad I managed to wake up early hahaha (I slept late again.. shhh) =P. My dad had to do some presentation of the church account... Numbers everywhere la omg... >.<.. There was some technical error in the beginning but that was okay... haha

Moving on, Teens starts at 11.30a.m this year hahaha.. cause of certain stuff.. lazy to explain =P. I didn't expect to see so many newcomers haha. Well, some of them were from the combined camp we had last year. INTRANSIT!! WOO =D. Awesome camp =P. Nice to see them again though.

Opening Sunday of Teens eh? haha... Well, like every year we had games =D. It was organized by Jean and Jayne =). Thanks a lot haha and great planning =). Hmm... well, we all sat in a circle in the beginning and yea as usual... instructed to introduce ourselves XP.

Gah, I feel so lazy lol.. to type so much =P... anyways I guess you all should know lar... The most interesting game for me was the balloon tower haha. We had like a number of groups.. each group had to select a leader while the others had to be blindfolded. I was one of them >.<. I seriously don't like to be blindfolded weh... I wanna be independant!! lol jk.. haha.. Have to depend on others sometimes also =). My group's balloon tower was reaaaaaaaallllyyyy creative hahahaha =P.

Later, we had the theme of Teen's Club this year and explanation etc... I enjoyed myself though haha... Although I didn't really wanna join in the games >.< =P. That's all I guess? haha.. wow.. 3 posts already... here comes one more last post for today haha =/.

Checkup?

Hah... yet another post about last week >.<. This was on Saturday... I woke up in the afternoon man... Must be because replacing the sleep I missed for Thurs and Fri hahahaha >.<. Slept for more than 12 hours @.@...

Anyways, I had an appointment with the dentist at 4p.m in the afternoon... Yeah I had to check up on my braces as on last Monday... one of the brackets lock opened and the wire came out >.<... so was a little worried la... somemore it made me late for work... lost RM5 sia... haha =P.. The dentist said it's no big deal la... it happens sometimes cause that part of the wire has the most pressure as that tooth has to move the most >.<. It only took about 5 minutes that appointment.. dam fast haha.. feel like quite waste petrol =X.. but oh well...

Mmhmm.. at night there was a dinner though.. free food!! =DDD.. at KGNS.. members dinner but people still brought their children so I went as well haha =P... There weren't that many people but when I got there... the Dim Sum was almost out already.. so fast >.<. Later, Maggie and Grace also came haha XD. Well, lazy to talk about food la =X.. but the lou sang was not that nice to eat >.<.

After that, there was a traditional orchestra.. quite nice la haha... then they had a lion dance @.@... the drums were dam loud weh >.<.. quite annoying... well a little lar =X. Went over to sit at Maggie and Grace's table... then we started talking la... about my braces.. asking questions... also talked about RBS hahaha =D.. got quite a lot of info =P.

Time flies la seriously... the dinner went by fast haha.. it was already close to 9p.m in such a short while lol. I noticed that I've been going out a lot lately... somemore it's not for a few hours like last time when I was schooling.. it's the whole day =O. Oh well, life after SPM haha =P

Crazy day! Seriously...

Helloooo people! Sheesh... really haven't had time to update my blog recently... so now.. I'm going to update.. will have a lot of past events hahaha =P... Last week was seriously some crazy week la =D.

Anyways... This is about CNY dinner that was last Thurs, on the 10th of Feb.. see... dam long ago right? =P hahaha.. So I was at work as usual... then after work I went to SS2 for dinner with friends haha... altogether got 10 of us... Lemme see... There was Dylan, Brian, Makesh, Min Chen, Marcus, Wei Wei, Adrissa, Kevin Tey, Nicholas Tan and me =D haha... wow.. Can't believe I still can remember...

Well, we ate at some restaurant... I forgot the name... >.<.. We had vegetables, fish, fried rice, crab, prawns and chicken.. I think that's all haha.. but seriously the dinner was quite cheap... all of us only paid like RM23 each for dinner hahaha =D and we all seriously ate quite a lot =P. We were actually like chatting through the whole dinner... lol... well it's good la.. got fellowship at least =D haha. After that, since it was a Thursday and there was the night market.. We decided to walk around the market... to digest the food also =D haha. Walked around like 1 round.. then we went to a field there =O.. I know a few of us had nothing better to do... acted like small kids =P hahaha. We all got bored after awhile and Dylan had to leave... all because of assignments and college the next day >.<.

Oh well... so we all got a little bored already and went to Kayu haha... wood =X. We all ordered drinks and roti tisu haha =D.. yeah.. they're famous for their huge roti tisu. =P.. bleh... skipping lol =X hahaha... we basically talked more la =D.

Later, I went over to Min Chen's place with Kevin and oh wow... I seriously stayed up the whole night.. and I had work that day @.@. Yeap... It was Friday already lol. What was I doing? ohoho.. we watched a cartoon.. 'Despicable Me'.. dam funny weh =D. I was also chatting with an old friend of mine =P.. then after that me and Min Chen played Generals: Shockwave lol... really nothing better to do... quite fun although it's an old game haha.

Crap lor, for some reason I didn't feel sleepy at all... haha =P.. so around 7a.m like that I started walking home with Kev.. Saw school students in cars and buses going to school. Some of them were like already late lol. Hah.. so glad I'm not in school anymore =P... But I do miss the walks in the morning though... dam cold =).

Blah... went home... washed up and got ready for work... went to work.. unwrapping magazines... I was doing it half-asleep weh hahaha... Suddenly was very tired cause the work is also boring >.<.. Anyways, thank God I recovered in the afternoon... wasn't sleepy anymore haha =D. Staying up whole night... seriously.. not a good idea lol >.<.

Crazy la... woke up at about 8.30a.m on Thurs summore.. then stay up more than 24 hours... dam geng weh hahaha... gah.. I guess I've typed enough on this post =P.. haih.. so sad lar no pics... My friends la... never upload one >.< lol

Yeah! So this picture here is my birthday cake =P.. sort of... Homemade by Jocelyn's mum I guess? haha.. It was good seriously =). Thanks a lot really =D. I have another cake waiting and it's chocolate cheesecake... omg.. a lot of cakes recently >.<.

It all happened yesterday where we were supposed to gather at Jocelyn's house to spend time with our dear friend who's going back to NS... Uh.. who was that again? Oh yea, it was our dear Teng Cheng Ching XD hahaha. Well, it was planned so happen on my birthday yesterday haha =D. Which is a good thing =P. I heard some of them went at about 4.30p.m =O.. but I had to go after work around 6.30p.m >.<. haha.. Nah I wasn't late at all ;D.

So yeah, when I arrived it was dark in the house >.>... They were watching a movie.. lol... I was surprised at the number of people sitting there really.. lol.. 10+++ people >.<... I was like wow lol. Anyways, when they saw me... I remember the first one to wish me was Cheng Ching my best buddy XP haha then followed by the rest which were Amira, Adrissa, Brian, Marcus, Min Chen, Ethan, Makesh and Hsu Hui haha.. I was happy for the wishes =D.. and Jocelyn was like the last to wish as she had to close the door etc... understandable =P. Still I appreciate her wish as well =D. Thanks you all =).

Uh.. let's see... they were all watching a cartoon movie called urmm... oh yea.. Coraline! Well, I guess it would be really creepy for small kids.. but for us it's like normal only? haha =P. Oh well, anyways... after that we played the Wii hahaha =P.. totally owned everyone in tennis... sorry guys >.<... last time play a lot at home that's why =P haha.

Anyways, we were ordering pizza for dinner haha =D. But before that, Jocelyn began plotting for a surprise already it seems >.<... She was doing something at the kitchen... hahaha =P. Like the picture I put up there... yeah... she was decorating the cake with some other people... I'm not really sure who... Then while I was still watching people playing the Wii... BAM... They started bringing out the cake and sang 'Happy Birthday' lol... Nice surprise I would say haha ;D. Really thanks a lot you all... Great friends I have =).

Not long later the pizza came haha... So we started eating and basically chatting at the dinner table haha... Well... nothing much happened after that except for a laugh at the people playing Mario on the Wii and pictures... haha =P.. We all left at about 11p.m.. Which is why I didn't have time to update my blog as well as I was busy replying people on facebook ahahaha =D.

There... our group picture together =D... So sad Amira and Ethan had to leave early >.<.

I really appreciate all the wishes from my friends and the time spent that day at Jocelyn's place ;). And Cheng Ching! Enjoy yourself at NS and have a safe trip. =)

Surprise? =D

Okay.. hello people.. this post is a little late haha =D.. but it happened like on the 6th of Feb XP.. Well.. I was busy yesterday as well so I couldn't really update my blog as I came back late and had some 'stuff' to do XP.

Well... It was a Sunday morning and we had sunrise worship. =D. Normally for sunrise we'll eat our brunch at church but for this time since it was CNY as well.. Mr. How and his family planned for a feast at their house haha. Just so happen it was also one of my friend's birthday.. Our dear Johanna a.k.a banana's birthday haha =X.

Well, I'm really glad that I can chew again and bite with my front teeth cause there were a lot of good food there and I really wouldn't want to miss good food =P haha. Anyways, there were sandwiches (which you had to make yourself), nasi lemak and the best of all ASAM LAKSA!! haha. I was really sweating eating that... it was soooo spicy XD. It's really a lot of food >.<.

Oh wow, forgot to mention... All of us when we arrived there looked around the house as the house had just been bought and Mr. How and family had just moved in... also one more of the reasons why he invited everyone to the house ;D. It's a realllllllllyyyy nice house. I want one myself to be honest. All the rooms had bathrooms and the toilets are just soooo nice as well haha.

Anyways, I didn't know that Carissa had a cake ready for our birthday girl, Johanna already =O. So yea.. when they took the cake out. I knew it was gonna be a surprise already XP. Wonderful surprise right Hanna? haha. Yeah, she definitely was grateful and really happy =D. Now... THE CAKE!! LOL. I'm not really sure what the cake is called but it's a cheesecake and it had like a coffee flavoured layer of chocolate.. and I'm not really sure about the bottom of the cake.. it's some sort of biscuit haha...

Fuh I tell you.. the cake was REALLY rich in cheese! One bite and you can feel all that cheese melting in your mouth.. the cake was awesomeee! haha.. Really is a must try cake =D... Anyways... since this post is for that day... soo... Happy Belated Birthday, Hanna a.k.a banana =D hahaha. That's the problem with late posts >.<...

Birthday Dinner!

Hey! I'm back =D... In just a few minutes... =X haha

Anyways, last night I really had a great time. Why? I went out for dinner with a number of friends haha... It's one of my friend's birthday see =D. So yeah, her dad treated us to dinner. Really thank you a lot, uncle! haha. Oh and thanks to my friend, Wen Di for inviting me =D.

So all of us met up at Wen Di's house at around 7 p.m haha. After that we went to a Chinese restaurant. =O.. I can't remember what the restaurant's name was >.<. The food was already pre-ordered by her dad. So we just went there and sat down and the food was served =O. Fast eh? =P. Well, her dad sat somewhere else with her grandmother as you know... awkward right if they sat with a group of friends... XP

I tell you.. The food was very well cooked haha... They were all delicious weh XD.. Although I had some trouble cause the food kept getting stuck in my braces >.<. So we joked about and talked while eating and we also took some pictures before and after eating haha =D. Can't wait for them to be uploaded =O. As usual, I was there making up some lame jokes along the way ahahaha.. I guess now I'm known for that.. =P

After the meal, there was cakeeeee and not one cake.. There were 2 types of cake lol >.<. I had like two and a half pieces of cake... wassss soo feelingggg >.<. Well, some of the guys there ate like girls ahahaha >.< =P. No offense yea? =P.. Well, I'm just saying they didn't eat that much.. There were about 5 dishes I think? haha. Well.. the cake.. to be honest... it's nice but a little too much sugar for me >.<. I get a little sick when I take too much sugar. Sick as in not well... not that sick sick... hahaa =P

I guess it was really enjoyable to be out for this dinner haha. Just wanna wish you a Happy Belated Birthday and may you have another wonderful year ahead of you. Although already wished but just wishing again haha =D. Also, thanks again for the invitation and thanks to your dad for treating us all dinner! =)

Oh hello people.. OMG wow it's Wednesday already and my last post was on the 31st of Jan? crap? I missed one day of blogging? =O. I didn't even know that.. I guess I was kinda taken away by some stuff haha... Oh well, I guess it's okay cause I didn't have anything to blog about anyways XD hahaha.

Don't the days pass real fast? It still feels like I just finished SPM not long ago... and now it's already February! =O.. and I can't believe I've already known that someone for 1 month plus already... It still feels like I've only known that person for a few weeks lol >.<. What can I say? Time fliesssss... lol..

Hey look good news! Well, for me I guess XP hahahaa... My birthday is coming closer! yayyy =D. I just hope I have a blast. Hehe. And yet again... Time goes by fast... another year has come by... >.<.. I'm older by 1 year already =( lol. Bleh nvm.. I'm still young XD. Come to think of it.. soon it'll be March... >.<.. Aih... Can time slow down? I guess not =/

Hmm.. Chinese New Year is tomorrow =O haha... oh well, the sad thing is that I won't be going back to my hometown... so on the 2nd day of CNY I'll still be at home hahaha... Maybe I'll be going around visiting lor =D. Oh well... but still can't wait for the red packets =DDD hahaha.

I really had a great night last night XP... Maybe have to do more cleaning today >.<... We'll see XD.. I think that's all for this post ahaha.

Weeeee! Yeah! After waiting for SOOO LONGGG!!! Finally I'm able to enjoy food again XD... Okay, not that long.. About 5 days after putting on my braces >.<... Man I was seriously suffering eating porridge almost everyday... I even lost weight omg... lol... I kinda got sick of porridge as well >.<. I'm just soooo glad that my teeth are usable again XP.

Anyways, it was last Friday when I decided to take the challenge to chew again =O... So I ordered Wan Tan Mee hahahaa =P. I felt like I was up to it so I ordered that. Wow I tell you... I seriously wasn't used to it man haha... I had slight trouble slicing the noodles >.<. Well, it did hurt a little when chewing as my teeth still hurt a little haha... The pain seriously takes quite a number of days to go away.

Although I can chew now... but I can't eat at the rate I used to eat last time... Last time I could gobble my food down.. now... impossible hahaha.. But as the days continue to go by... it gets easier and easier to chew if you get what I mean XP. I'm kinda getting used to eating with braces on hahaha. I really can't believe how slow I've been eating the past few days >.<...

Mmm... Quite a number of days I didn't post anything eh? XP... Well... there are a few reasons... First of all... I had no idea what to post and I was also lazy to even post anything... ahaha... Anyways... I will continue to update my blog lar =P. I guess that's all for now. =D

No Teeth?

Ooh... Hello! Yesterday I didn't blog cause lazy =P XD

Mhmm... It has been two days since I had my braces put on. That day, at first it was nothing much just felt weird cause I'm having metal in my mouth lol. A few hours later, all my teeth started hurting.. Somemore my wounded gums were just healed from the extractions last Sat.. Seriously like constant pain for days lol...

Yeah, I've been suffering quite a bit lately... Cause I can't chew.. and when I try to, it hurts like crap... Haha, I've been testing my teeth out from time to time by trying to chew... I don't know why but my mouth is just itching to chew something >.<... So no choice have to take in soft foods instead like porridge, soup, etc...

So recently I've been thinking... I kinda like have no teeth at all!! T.T... Cause I only can swallow the food... If I just apply a little pressure on my teeth also it hurts already... and ALL MY TEETH HURT... not a few lol =P... So my teeth are like TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE T.T... It's actually due to my teeth now being mobile and they're not used to it... So they hurt... and hurt me =(.

I guess I just have to stand a couple of days more as one of my friend said that it takes about 5 days before the pain goes off? >.<... I guess I'll have to be patient as there goes the saying 'Patience is a virtue' =P. Though I have all these pains... I'm still kind of thankful though that my parents are willing to pay for my braces and also that God gave me this opportunity to have braces... I've been waiting for braces like almost 6 years already... Stupid government =X

I think that's all I have to complain about =P. Keep in touch with my blog ppl XP. Will update again... If I have something to update that is... haha

It's freaking tiring as I had to leave my mouth open for the whole 2 hours T.T. But thank God there were some breaks in between. Haha.

Then after that, he just put the wire on and voila we were done... The braces was on! =O.. It wasn't painful putting on the braces... but like chewing and brushing teeth... omg the pain T.T. Guess I just have to wait till my teeth gets used to being pulled lol >.<.

Okay okay... you can ignore the thing above... It wasn't that bad a day at all haha =P.

Lol... Well, let's see here... Today I was really sleepy in the morning as I only had a few hours sleep last night >.<. Almost wanted to sleep in church lol =X but I didn't hahaha =P. Well, I got a candy today and I tried chewing it... seriously REALLY DIFFICULT TO CHEW!! T.T.. So yeah.. today whole day I was having only liquids except for dinner had some porridge hahaha. Mmm.. what to expect.. It's only yesterday I got the extractions done... but right now it's definitely better.. less pain haha =).

Oh well, I guess I kinda enjoyed the committee meeting today haha. It was kinda interesting =P haha. Hope to work with all of ya well =D. Still, have to thank Jo'Anne for treating all of us... Though she didn't have to but what's done is done >.<.. Oh yea... and for the transport haha. Thanks.

oh Dang! Ouch!!

Lol... Went to the dentist today... At first, we were supposed to go to the government to do the extractions... so the dentist was telling which tooth to be extracted... >.<.. Then later, he decided to do it for me. I was totally unprepared for this lol T.T.

So... went into the room and he made my mouth numb and just started to pull my teeth out @.@. Well, it was kinda scary for me as it is my first time doing extraction. My hand were totally shaking man >.<. But nah... It didn't hurt at all.. so don't bother about the title... just to catch your attention ahahahaha =P. Now my mouth is seriously all numb and I don't really like the feeling. I hope when it wears off it won't be too painful. lol >.<. Can't speak properly and it feels kinda weird.

Guess I won't be eating any solids for awhile >.<.. have to let the gums heal. Well, scary but it's an experience ;) haha. I guess that's it for now =). Woots! Braces will be on soon =DDD.

Hello people =D

Yesterday was seriously really tiring man.. Was at work at 9p.m. in the morning... Well, at least work was more fun than before cause I got to do other stuff like carry some stuff around hahaha =P. Everytime lunch sure eat at the food court at Rock Cafe >.<. Well, I got to paste price tags on some packed up magazines lol.

Well, that was a little boring but still.. with help.. we did it quite fast haha. Pasted over a few hundred of them >.<. Next week have to do even more @.@. Anyways, the best time was still at night haha. Went out to eat with my bro at the food court at Rock Cafe (I think I'm gonna get bored of this place soon >.<) with his co-workers and the food I ordered was not bad for the price... They gave quite a lot of rice hahaha.

Sat there until about 9.30p.m.. telling jokes.. talking about cars... etc.. lol.. while drinking! =P. But I think I drank a little too much though... Went home and had a slight headache >.<. But after drinking some water I was alright =P. Then went back to my usual stuff... FB etc =P..

Oh well.. that's it for this post haha =D

InTransit Camp!

Oh yeah! This post may be outdated but still... I remember I really had a great time at InTransit camp by my Teen's Club! I'm so proud of the committee for doing a great job! =D

Well, it's a combined camp. It consists of SWCC (Sungai Way Christian Church) and BPGC (Bandar Puchong Gospel Centre) which explains the amount of people that went for the camp hahaha =). Aih.. There could be more pictures in this post but the prob is... I didn't have a camera to take pictures with and I still don't =(. Oh well, looking at the bright side... at least I had lots of fun. =P

So hmm.. let's see... oh.. location? It was held at Peacehaven, Genting Highlands =). We were there for 3 days 2 nights! Which was from 21st-23rd of Dec 2010. Woots... The weather there was seriously freezing cold! Especially in the mornings >.<. Colder than Camerons I believe. I don't know why.. maybe it's because Camerons is a more industrial area >.< haha. Yeah, lots of vehicles moving about there... so... AIR POLLUTION =( lol haha =P.

Oh gosh... what else to write? Hmm... maybe I'll just comment on some stuff in da camp ;D. Well, the 'Guardian Angel' game sure was awesome. I know some people did mischievous stuff haha. I won't say who but they should know themselves =P. Hmm... I really can't believe that I dipped my whole head into the pail of water just to get the lemons at the bottom during the games on the first day lol... Thanks Eu Wei for not putting that apple in earlier >.< haha. Thank God after that I didn't freeze to death =P.

Worship was awesome! Love all the songs that we sung during the camp.. Really tells how wonderful, awesome and great our God is =). Evan really was one heck of a guy haha. Don't you all agree? =P. Ooohh yeah! My group got 2nd place in the camp woots! =D. All thanks to my wonderful group leading.. okay just kidding =P. It was also cause of my great group-mates as well haha. GO NARITAS! =P. Well, really have to hand it in to Eu Ern's group. They were really awesome haha. Eu Ern and Wan Teng's duet! haha ;).

Well, a lot of exciting things happened in camp but those 3 days passed real quickly... Food was really good though I had to kinda force myself to eat cause we ate like every few hours >.<. Plus even more during lunch or dinner. @.@... Gosh... the amount I had to eat. Believe me, when I got back here. I was slightly sick of food hahaha >.< =D. But somehow I wish I was back at InTransit camp! hahaha. It's really nice to meet lots of new friend ;). I guess it really is a blessing to even be at that camp =). Thanks to the committee and great campers for the AWESOME time! =D

I guess that's all I have to write/type for now and today =X... I'll see how... Maybe tomorrow I'll update my blog again =P... You all just have to hope I don't feel lazy =D hahaha.

So yeah. The Holy Spirit has always been helping me. It helps me to distinguish between right and wrong. It speaks to me but sometimes I don't hear It. The Spirit works according to God's will and also has his own will.

Romans 8:27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance to God's will.

1 Corinthians 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

Slowly but Surely =)

Well... Just wanna share something over all these years of my life. Haha.

I remember when I was younger.. I was quite a naughty boy... Well aren't all guys like that when they're young? =P... You know.. Mischievious, playful, etc etc... haha.. After I started believing in Christ at the age of 11 (Standard 5).. I slowly became a better person actually... but it's a slow and long process... You see.. God transforms people =).

I do remember I used to be like really shy around girls... Well that's quite common for all guys XP.. Well okay.. let's use something else... I remember I used to hate my looks and I basically hated myself.. I never liked my individual picture taken unless forced to... Most of the time I would take my pictures in groups... So that you know... People won't just look at me... They'll look at the whole picture hahaha. Yea I really didn't like the way I looked.

Not only that, I was also very inactive in my school's co-curriculum and I didn't like involving myself in many things... I didn't have much confidence in myself you see... But what I didn't know was that God was slowly changing me... What he did first was most probably let me know what's right and what's wrong through the Holy Spirit... But that doesn't mean I didn't make the wrong choices... I still did.. But I thought for a moment before doing that something. Also.. I became less mischievious and oh.. I did tell a lot of lies when I was younger too.. so yeah that reduced a lot as well as through the Holy Spirit I knew it was wrong to tell lies.. My parents told me as well of course.. But deep down I myself also knew it was wrong. So yeah my lie count reduced dramatically... haha.. That's one of the changes... but it still took me 1-2 years...

Yea so when I reached Form 3 (15 years old).. I began to open up (not open up as in.. you know.. lol) and yea I became more outgoing, more confident in myself.. I guess God also helped me to build up my confidence over the years. Imagine... 4 years to build up confidence... real long right? Yeah.. I became more active in co-curricular activities and I involved myself in more things than form 1 or 2.. and form 3 was the most certificates I've ever gotten for all the events I joined lol.. And I also began to learn how to love myself... I'm not camera shy anymore... Which is why my facebook... only started having individual pictures when I was Form 3...

By that time I was already a much much better person... I've really been transformed.. and only last year I began to realize this.. It's really amazing really... How much we can change... Well I believe this is what God did in my life... Changing me totally... I'm most of the time joyful because I know whatever happens... God is always there...

This is what I believe.. Yes, many other people also change even if they don't believe in God... But for me.. I believe that God is the one that changed me =). So yeah, just wanna thank God for this. God changes people slowly but surely.

Yeah! Finally the time has come that my prefect's duty life is over!!! No more wearing blazers =/. I'm gonna miss my blazer I think.. lol.. Great installation we had today! Lots of food hahaha... I enjoyed the pizzas most =D.

I'm neither happy nor sad... I'm only happy that I don't have to duty anymore cause it's kinda boring sometimes... In fact I don't even know what to feel... Should I be happy or sad? I really don't know... I guess I'm having a mixture of both...

Haih... In addition to that, I was told something I didn't want to hear of or think of at all... So in my mind I'm like WHYYYY!! T.T. What is feelings? Is it a word, an action and emotion? In fact, feelings encompass every components mentioned plus experience. When one is detached, the feeling that he/she feels are but numb and lifeless, just like a word.. I feel that the word 'Heartless' is best used here to describe the feeling when a person has become so numb, he/she is said to be "without a heart".

On the other hand, feelings are also what results in actions, for example, a person feels exceptionally pissed or upset, what he/she can do is to simply show it through actions. It may be arguable that a person can hide these actions and curb him/herself but naturally these actions will be converted into facial experssions and then conveyed out through their facial features and body language.

Body language is in fact one of the best ways to detect a person's feeling. This is even more obvious if you are hanging out with someone who is very close to you. People close to you tend to notice all the little bits and pieces of your body language and know when you are acting differently. Moreover, body language tends to be generally passive and unconcious, as such, even when your breathing and actions change, you may not be aware of it..

The 3rd part of feeling consist mainly of emotions and experiences. Everyday experiences are what affects our mood. A friend giving you a present could liven your mood and you will feel happy for the whole of the day but suddenly when you are accused of stealing something, your mood immediately changes. This is how easy a single event that takes place in life can totally change your mood from happy to sad. What's more dampening is the fact that almost all of us are susceptible to mood changes. But this is all normal..

The important part of having these emotions and experiences is to know how to actually relieve them., otherwise they will simply build up stress inside yourself that it invokes a sleeping volcano to erupt.. Should this happen, the consequences are actually less controllable. Living life everyday is not about hiding your emotions to please people or forcing yourself to accept something. I guess by doing so, its like shaking a capped bottle of Coke, when you attempt to open it, everything spills out and you end up with less contents inside.

When feeling upset, simply find someone or something(yes, something, and I mean it) to talk to. No doubt you may feel awkward doing so but actually talking about it helps a 100 times better than bottling all the feelings up. I tried for 2 years to keep everything bottled up inside my brain and live life for others but I soon realised that sometimes, you can never be happy that way. Today, I felt useless to help a person because I couldn't cheer her up and tell her all these..it mattered to me because I did not want the same thing to happen again. Only by learning to speak up about emotions and feelings do they become easier and cleare, just like untying a knot, it gets easier as u sit down calmly and untie it.

Well for all of this, I hope that I would have been of help to whoever has read this blog apart from myself, I don't know if it appears as crap to people reading it but it's just my 2 cents worth.

Oh wow. I really can't believe I stayed back at school the whole day today @.@. So basically I think I was running about after school helping my friend to do the posters. Yeap. My school has this BP myScience challenge thing haha.. So of course my school is aiming to win again this year =P.

Had to do a lot of colouring basically... I really hateeee using marker pens to colour big objects on drawings... It takes suchhh aaaa lloooonnnggggg timeeeee lolx. I actually felt lazy to go to tuition as well so I didn't go home so early =X.

Oh well, after helping my friends I went to the CC (Click Club) or so my school calls it... and yeah had to do more colouring lol.. I had nothing to do which is why I stayed back and looked for stuff to do lol. But I seriously had fun though hahaha.. joking and playing around at times XP.

Just a little something I wanna share. It may seem like sometimes God doesn't answer your prayers or hear your prayers when you ask something from Him. But actually He answers all your prayers. It's just whether it's a yes or a no. Sometimes it's because God can't really help you as you didn't do anything to help yourself. It is said in the bible that God helps those who helps themselves.

So yeah, like a post I did before so many months ago titled 'Set The Field'. Here again I will say you have to prepare a field for the Lord to work so that he can actually answer your prayers. So don't think that God doesn't answer prayers. HE DOES! It's just whether you did anything so that He is able to help you or not. So don't just think that praying to God will help you to solve any problems or score exams if you don't do anything to deserve it. =)

God WILL help you. You just need to do something rather than nothing. =)

Sparks of Broadway!

Hey people! I went for Sparks of Broadway last Saturday (26th of June 2010). I got the tickets for free because CIMB bank sponsored due to a success of a program in my school which I was in =P. Sadly not all of us claimed to tickets so it was open to teachers and other students of the school haha. There were about 40 of us who attended that program and they were giving us 2 tickets each person! Cool huh? =D. So that'll make about 80 tickets? haha
Anyways, just finding 1 extra person to go with me to SOB also took so many phone calls. Haih. When it was almost midnight, found somebody to go with me lol! Was damn happy =P. Thanks Eunice! If you even ever read this post... @.@. haha... 3 days already and now only I posting about this... Shows how lazy I am =P.

Lol.. Well my seats were at Q9 and Q10... you can see it clearer if you enlarge the above pic =P. The performances were quite good. They really practiced hard for this. Their dances and songs were all based on oldies from the 1960's. They did 'I just can't wait to be King' from Lion King, 'Without Love' from Hairspray and so many other which I am not even sure haha... but they're from movies of that time... It was okay la... funny at some parts haha. They even had to act childish at some performances which was funny.

The program ended at about 5.15p.m. They gave a 20 min break to go and get refreshments, shirts and so on... all these were for charity so they were kind of expensive... Well, I just got water hahaha... I gotta admit it was nice talking to Eunice again after so long... well quite long... haha...

Outing!

Went out last Saturday during the holidays! With my group called 'The Catalysts'. Sadly not everyone of them could attend. We met at Cineplex at The Curve. I went together with the guys hahaha. So yeah, we went and watched Karate Kid in Platinum suites. Man it was comfortable but man 1 ticket cost like RM40 and food is in separate bills @.@. But kinda good lar, they serve you the food to your seats haha. Honestly, I wouldn't have gone if Mr. Shankar and Mr. Andy didn't sponsor us for it... haha =P.. It's expensive really... So thanks a lot to them =D.

I'm telling you that the movie is one of the best! Recommended to watch haha! Go watch Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time as well! damn good movies seriously haha. I really wouldn't mind watching Karate Kid a 2nd time =P.

So yeah after that we all went to eat at Bubba Gump. Totally seafood lol. Shrimp everywhere and man the menu... It's expensive as well. One drink can cost more than RM20 @.@... Well all thanks to Shankar and Andy again hahaha. They have different seasonings of shrimp or we know it as prawns haha. Really a fun outing. Glad to have went with all the Catalysts' members!

After that, we, the guys, went walking about The Curve to different shops... Kinda boring honestly... but overall we had a lot of fun watching the movie and the lunch haha. Oh well, nothing much else happened except we went for bowling lol... Then we kinda walked around a bit more and went home =P

I was feeling troubled lately so I just took out the bible and started reading. As I kept reading, I just felt a sense of peace come over me. It was like God was there comforting me. Another time as well, I was also feeling troubled by many thoughts and I just started talking to God and once again I felt that peace. I calmed down. I believe I heard Him say, "Just have faith and trust in me." So I did. God is always there for us. He is just waiting for us to look for Him and is ready to comfort us anytime. So just look for God and talk to Him or read his word. Trust me, it brings comfort and peace to you.

Hey Vilashini,

I've only met you since the beginning of Form 5 school and I still remember the first time I asked for your name. You asked all of us to call you Vila but someway or another I decided to call you Vilash haha =P. It has just been 5 months now and although it hadn't been that long but you've become quite a good friend of mine. You really can socialize with people. To cut it short, I'm saying that you're a really nice and friendly person. =)

You have been really helpful and fun. All the laughter and the jokes that made us all laugh. I really will miss that time. I wish you never had to leave our school but it is for a really good cause and I accept it. You've been a great person to me. Thanks for helping me out in class as well. I'm really glad I met someone like you.

I wish you good luck for your SPM and at when you're back at your old school. I also want to bid you goodbye. I will miss you. Only a few more days left to see you around in our school before you leave. After you leave, maybe we'll plan some outings where all of us can catch up. =) It isn't easy for you I know. But still you're doing this for the best of your SPM results. We'll all still meet up somewhere in the future again just to spend time together. This is not the last goodbye =). He comforts us when we are in trouble, so that we can share that same comfort with others in trouble. We share in the terrible sufferings of Christ, but also in the wonderful comfort he gives. We suffer in the hope that you will be comforted and saved. And because we are comforted, you will also be comforted, as you patiently endure suffering like ours.

Whenever you're feeling down, remember that God is always there to comfort you! He'll be carrying you! So you would only see 1 set of footprints in the sand =). God is the best comfort you can get in this world!

Hey people! I'm back!! I would say that this camp that I went to was AWESOME!! Man.. I'll never forget that moment when Praveen was out there demonstrating for us. Where he pointed the 'so called' knife and said "Lu mau duit ka?" hahaha. That was the most memorable for all of us at the camp XD.

It's a good thing that the camp wasn't bad if not it would just have been a waste of time =). But haih.. I missed out so many things at school =(. But oh well... It can't be helped can it? Unless someone updates me hahaha =D. Glad to be back safely though =)

Lol.. Once again I'm off to another camp.. Crap.. so many camps this year @.@.. Oh well.. I'm having doubts about the camp but I hope it'll be worth it =). Will be back on Saturday afternoon =D.

This time the camp is back at Hulu Langat lol. It's called the 'Youth Leader Camp'.. at Training Camp and Reo Resort... I think should be quite close to the Rotary Club's camp that I went previously lol XD.. Oh well.. wish me luck people =D. I'm gone.

God's Blessings!

A study of the fact of God's blessings is a wonderful study. God is the greatest giver of all. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast in turning," wrote James (Jas. 1: 17, ASV). The Father exemplified the greatest possible giving when he gave his only begotten Son for sinful man (Jn. 3: 16, for a study of John 3: 16 see link at the end of this material). There are numerous Hebrew and Greek words translated bless, blessed, and blessings. Viewed collectively they mean "to declare happy, to speak well of, very happy." Again, I stress that God is the source of all true blessings (Gen. 1: 22, 28, 5: 2). A good example of God's blessings is seen in the case of Abraham (Heb. 6: 14, see addendum). Let us now focus our study on two areas, those whom God blesses, and blessings in Christ.

Those whom God blesses. In a general sense, God blesses all men in that He has provided for all (Acts 17: 28, Matt. 5: 45). However, in actuality God only blesses certain ones in the sense of his salvation and providence. Consider those whom God has said he blesses (also consider the opposite application).

Those who trust in God. "Blessed is the man that trusteth in him," declared the Psalmist (Ps. 34: 8, see vs. 7-9). To trust in God means we believe him and rely on him. The trust taught is child like, as a child trusts in his parents for provision and guidance (Matt. 18: 1-4).

Those who consider the poor. Again, God plainly speaks through his word: "Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble" (Ps. 41: 1). The biblical principle is, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20: 35).

Those who hear instruction. Wisdom says, "Hear instruction, and be wise and refuse it not" (Prov. 8: 33). "Blessed is the man that heareth me," God's word continues, "watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors" (vs. 34). God also said, "Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish (Prov. 12: 1).

Those who keep God's ways. God's word unequivocally says, "Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways" (Prov. 8: 32). Jesus said, "If ye know these things, blessed are ye if ye do them" (Jn. 13: 17, ASV).

Those who endure. "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him," declared the Spirit led James (Jas. 1: 12). Peter taught that if one turns back to the world, it would have been better for him to have never known the way of righteousness (2 Pet. 2: 20-22).

God's blessings in Christ. The casual student of the scriptures should be conversant with the expression "in Christ." It is in Christ that the Father spiritually blesses man today. Hear the apostle Paul: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" (Eph. 1: 3). Appreciate the fact that "all spiritual blessings" are in Christ. Notice in particular some of the stated blessings that are enjoyed in Christ.

God's grace is enjoyed in Christ. God's grace is absolutely essential to man's salvation, as man can not merit his salvation (Tit. 3: 5). However, notice where this grace is enjoyed, "Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" (2 Tim. 2: 1). Hence, those outside of Christ are without God's saving grace (Eph. 2: 12).

The new creature is in Christ. When one submits to God's plan of salvation (means of accessing God's grace), one becomes a new creature, the old man is put to death (Rom. 6: 3 ff). Notice the location of the new creature, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Cor. 5: 17).

Furthermore, "in Christ" there is no condemnation (Rom. 8: 1). In Christ redemption, being a child of God, and salvation are experienced (Eph. 1: 7; Gal. 3: 26; 2 Tim. 2: 10).

One gains entrance into Christ by water baptism (Rom. 6: 4; Gal. 3: 26, 27). To be in Christ is to be in his spiritual body, the church (cp. Gal. 3: 27 and I Cor. 12: 13; the "body" is the church, Eph. 1: 22, 23).

In closing, all men should desire to be blessed by God in the way we have studied. However, since God is the source of all true blessings, He has the right to name those whom He blesses and state the circumstances of the blessings. We are truly thankful that God has promised to bless man in such a way that man can easily become a recipient of God's blessings. To be blessed of God is to be truly happy (Jn. 13: 17, KJV).

Hey people! I'm back from my prefect's camp!! It was fun but tiring... and there were also some problems but other than that I think it was quite alright =).

There were all indoor games but I would prefer if there were outdoor games where we can get dirty and etc. It's much more fun lolx XP.

Really wanna thank God that we all were safe during the trip there and coming back. I don't want to go into much detail about the camp. =D

Jesus challenges us to be salt and light - to influence the world, and to be seen to be doing so. You might like to spend some time reflecting on this passage :

Matthew 5:13-16
You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. Treasure Hunt

Hey people! So today for Teen's Club we were having a treasure hunt in Tropicana City Mall! So basically we were running all over Tropicana City Mall like some mad people XD. There were 8 clues altogether. And we were given 2 hints for each group. Some clues were really very difficult to figure out that we had to use our hints. Lol. Kinda funny though after we found out the clue. Halfway through the treasure hunt. We couldn't run anymore cause we were warned not to run in the mall. Well, for my group, we kinda couldn't run already because the girls were tired and we had to go in a group for this game.

Well, most of us were tired and were feeling pains at our legs. But all these can never compare to the pain Jesus had gone through even before he was hung on the cross to die. We should never forget what Jesus went through for us. God sacrificed his ONLY son for us to be healed completely. We should always be thankful to Him for this!

Footprints in the Sand

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of His life.

This really bothered Him and He questioned the LORD about it. LORD you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.

The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

Hey people! I know this is kinda late but I just wanted to share something about this camp that I went to =D.

I went for this camp organized by Rotary Club of Bukit Kiara Sunrise and sponsored by CIMB bank. It was a leadership camp. It was held at Agrotek Garden Resort Sungai Semungkis, Batu 14 1/2 43100 Ulu Langat, Selangor from 15-18 of March which was from Monday to Thursday. 4 days and 3 nights XD. We all really thank CIMB bank for sponsoring all 52 of us that went for this camp.

Trust me, if anyone else other than the 52 of us went for this camp, you'll be really inspired as well. It was really worth going for this camp. Didn't waste our time at all. We were given 4 shirts which consists of 4 different colours which were blue, yellow, red and green as there were 4 teams haha. I was in yellow team.

At first, I thought the place wouldn't be so nice but when I reached there the place was actually quite nice. Just that there's a lot of bugs to swat around XD. Well, during the camp, we had outdoor activities and indoor activities. We had outdoor activities like Treasure Hunt, The Maze, Jungle Trekking and Obstacle Course. In this camp we were taught that as an individual we cannot be perfect but as a team we can be perfect. This is because all of us have our own strengths and weaknesses and when we combine all of them, we can be perfect!

Indoor activities, it was basically like workshops. And we usually discuss what we learnt after the outdoor activity and we were given points for answering. So that's what actually drove us to answer because the winning team will get the winning prize and there was only one prize. So we were all fighting to get the prize and in the end, green team won! Congratulations! Yellow team was 500 points behind only while the other 2 teams were a few thousand points away. I also learnt from all these that if we conceive and believe, we can achieve. In life, we also need to have a vision. Through that vision we need to take action if not the vision would just be an illusion.

The 4 days passed quite fast, well I could go into more detail but I do not want this post to be too long hahaha =P. We all were quite tired but we had lots of fun. After the camp, I set my mind to become better and to change my attitude. I can't change instantly but I'll have to do it slowly. Our mind is a really powerful thing. Oh, some of us also exchanged shirts so we have all 4 colours which I have now XD haha.

Set the Field!

A lot of us believe in God. Although it may be different Gods we all share one thing, we always ask God for help, stuff and so on. God will help you. But first you have to set the field!

What do I mean by that? For example when you want to score A's for your exams, you'll ask God for help. But you can't just not do anything and expect God to help you score. You need to prepare first by studying. When the time comes, God will grant you the wisdom to answer the questions based on what you've studied.

During the dry season, one farmer sowed the seeds in his field while another just stayed in his house because it was so hot. And when the rain came, the seeds sprouted and became rice paddies and the farmer happily harvested his crops while the other had nothing to harvest. This is also another example of setting the field.

No matter what you do, you need to put in effort. Only through your hard work will you get good results. God does help you. It's just that you need to set the field through hard work. You need to work for everything in this world to get it. Nothing is free. If you get a prize or something, that is because God is blessing you for the hard work you've done =). So always be prepared.

Amazing Grace!

There was a woman, who went to Singapore to pick her mother to go to the Philippines for her mum to relax as her mum was always stressed out and frustrated because of all the work she had to do at home. When the woman met her mum at the airport on the way to Philippines, she noticed that her mum's face was glowing. Her mum was more joyful and happy. When she asked why, her mum said it's because she found Jesus Christ. She was shocked and immediately told her mum not to tell her about Jesus Christ and that she'll never trust in Him. So her mum just said that she wouldn't. This was because she didn't know much about Him although she did learn a little bit when she was younger.

When they arrived there, they went to live on one of the islands where there was no electricity, no communications whatsoever as to relax. So she wanted to visit the natives which lives on the other side of the island. But they couldn't walk there. They had to take a boat. She went to rent a boat and there was a motorboat but the guy wouldn't let her rent it. So instead, he gave her vessel which was only made out of one thick piece of wood and one plank at the bottom and top. She said she tried to sit in it but she couldn't as it was too small. So she sat on top of it and paddled.

So the woman and her mum sat on the vessel and she paddled at the direction of the natives living place. The scenery was great and the water was clear and the creatures in the water could be seen. As soon as her mum saw the giant stingray, she demanded to be brought back to the original place. So the woman listened and brought her back but still wanted to go see the natives. So she left alone. Because there was islands around the place she was at, so there were no cross waves as the waves were being blocked.

As she paddled around the island, she reached a part where the waves weren't being blocked anymore so there were cross waves. She got trapped in it and no matter how hard she paddled, she couldn't go the direction of the natives as the waves were pushing her away. She was stuck! So she decided to jump into the water and swim towards the natives' island as the sky was also getting dark. When she was about to jump, she heard a voice saying "Do not jump!". At first she thought it was her husband that had come to rescue her. But when she turned around, there was no one. She decided not to obey the voice because she thought she would die if she stayed on the small vessel and again she decided to jump into the water and she heard the voice again, loud and clear this time, saying "Do not jump!".

This time, she started thinking and she looked into the sky and asked "God, is that really You?". And then strong winds started blowing and a storm came. The waves were very rough and her vessel overturned and she was thrown off it. So she quickly swam towards the vessel as hard as she could as she had to fight the waves and held on to it. She tried to turn it back upright but she couldn't. Then, she started thinking that she doesn't want to die and that she doesn't want to go to hell but heaven. Then she began to think about what she had learned about God. The only thing she remembered was the verse "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life." Which she learned it in a Catholic Sunday School which her dad sent her to when she was young. Then she spoke to God and said "If you're really God, please help me to know You more so that I can go to heaven." So God gave her the strength to hold on and she lasted till the next day.

While she was still holding on, she did not know that she was bleeding. So this attracted the sharks. She saw the sharks swimming towards her and she quickly cried out "God, help me!" and God replied her saying "I want a 100% faith from you" and she said "okay, I'll give you a 100% faith." And she constantly heard God saying "A 100% faith". The sharks continued to swim towards her and when they were near her, they just made a U-turn and left and never came back. She was very tired.

On the 3rd day, she told God "I do not want to stay here another day, I am very tired. I have a 100% faith that you will send someone to rescue me". After that, she say a fishing boat slowly going by her but she couldn't see anyone on the boat and the boat just passed her. She asked God, "please God, let someone on that boat see me." And when she looked again, she saw a guy standing there and he started to wave at her. Then she waved back and the guy waved even harder and he called all his other buddies out and they all waved at her. She was so grateful that the guy saw her there. So she signaled for the guy to come and get her. But the guy signaled for her to swim to the boat. She was really tired but she still swam towards the boat.

When she got there, she was hoping that they would throw the float for her and pull her up. But instead, they just threw a rope down and wanted her to climb. So she climbed but after that she asked the guys to pull her up which was a bad idea. When were pulling her up, she was sliding through all the rust on the side of the ship so in the end she decided to just climb. She was really happy that she was rescued.

This story was told by a woman called Michelle Hamilton. Her story was published in Reader's Digest. I do not know which year but God is really amazing. He knows what we are capable of because even though she was tired, God knew that she still could swim and climb up the boat herself. She wasn't a believer at first, but look at what God did. She finally believed in Him and it's all because of God's grace. =) Thanks Miss Sonia for sharing this story with us. =)

Canteen Day

Woooo! What a day it was yesterday! 10th of March 2010! It will be a really memorable Canteen Day! XD. There were seriously a lot of preparations to make this day happen! We had to stay back on Tuesday to do decoration. So the people were blowing balloons, making their stall banners, etc.

So I helped to put up the balloons and the Canteen Day banner! Yay! =P haha. The theme was pac-man. Well, at first I thought it was gonna be funny but when I saw it I was like "Wow! Not bad." The next morning had to wake up really early lolx.

Woke up at about 5 and got ready to go. Didn't have to bring my schoolbag XD. Man, when I got the shirt and wore it. It looked quite good haha. Well, I had my doubts but it turned out okay =D. Early morning already also have to run around lol.. Was sweating like mad haha.

Yeah so we set up the stalls and we sold many types of food. There were varieties of drinks as well haha. I'm lazy to list but those who were there should know =P. It was a longgggggggg day. Was really tired as well. I could see from everyone's faces that they were also tired but we all had a lot of fun, didn't we? XD. At certain times it was seriously chaos haha. Mess everywhere =P

Well, after selling everything of course we would have to clean up all the mess. So as usual every year we would wash the floor! Weeeeeeeee haha.

Oh well, lazy to go into details and write too long =P hahaha. So yeah, we all went home happy but tired =D. Bet some of them slept after they got home haha.

Hey people! Haha. Went out shopping by myself last week and got myself some new shoes! The old ones were really worn out XD. It had tears at some places and the padding came off when I was running the other day.

I got quite a good deal for this. It had a discount of 30% O.o.. It was supposed to be RM90 but I got it for RM63 weeeeee.. haha.. I'm gonna enjoy using the shoes =P

Felt like a Stranger

Just earlier, I went for a dinner at my uncle's place at Puchong. Yeah, I went there and there was catered food and all that. So many varieties of food and damn delicious haha. But that's not the point here. =P

When I came out of the vehicle, there were so many faces that I didn't know. So I just followed my parents and went to eat =O. After that, all I could do was just sit around as I did not know the people there. Sound damn boring right? Yeap... I was definitely bored...

3 of them there were my cousins and I DO NOT know them at all @.@... I only seen their faces from a visit to their place last 4 years... So yeah I was a total stranger... but a related stranger if you get what I mean lolx.

Really thank God that we didn't stay long... I was just sitting doing nothing haha. But at least I got some red packets =P haha. Wish to have got to know them a little but oh well they seemed busy with their other guests so I thought 'nevermind'. Maybe in the future =) (If I ever see them again lol)

Mannn.. It's been quite awhile since I last blogged haha. Anyways, yesterday was the last day of the monthly exams! FREEDOM!!! WOOT! XD... Well, temporary freedom =.="

Another one will be coming and it won't be long hahaa. Gonna spend my these few days enjoying myself =P. Well, quite a lot of activities will be coming up as well... damn form 5 is a busy year haih haha... but still... it's the most enjoyable year I think haha.

BLG Concert!

Woooooooo! What a dayyyy mannnn XD. Almost lost my voice and my hearing haha. The music was blasting so loudly that even my whole body shook from the beat lol. Yeah! I went to Boys Like Girls concert! XD

Anyways, I had lots of fun jumping around! Although I didn't get the phone but I did enjoy myself a lot and reallyyyyyyyy had a nice supper with Kevin Tey, Nicholas Siew, Chun Yik, Marissa, Jeanette and Celine XD.

Dear Calvin and Alvin,

I've gotten news about your dad. First of all, I want give you both my sincere condolences for your loss. I may not have lost a family member that is close to me but somehow I know how it feels to lose someone especially that is a close member of your family.

I do not know your dad but I believe that your dad is a very good man. Like all dads, I believe he has worked hard to take care of your family, gave financial support, provided shelter for you all, helped you whenever you needed help, been a responsible and loving dad and whatever else there is.

I believe that it was God's plan for him to have passed away there and then. And now I hope that he's with God and is looking down upon you two and your family from up there. Remember all the good things that he did, maybe like the jokes that he made or when he played with you when you were younger. He may be gone now but he'll live on in your hearts and your memories of him. He has done his duty on this earth.

In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."

And in John 14:1-4
"Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way I am going."

So don't be too troubled as God will provide you with peace of mind and heart as it is said in John 14:27 "I am leaving you with a gift -- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid."

I hope that these few verses here will help you to continue on with your life and what I'm writing here I mean it with my heart =). May God provide your family with peace. God bless! Keep smiling and be happy. One day you'll see him again. Remember that God always gives and takes.

School's Back!

Holidays are over and I just went back to school today.
I was really glad in fact.
It wasn't too bad =). Got to see my friends again!
This is my last year in SMK Sri Permata.
There goes my 'sleeping late' schedule.
Need to study harder.
Time for SPM is near!
